...flock together
As birds of a feather flock together, words "of a feather" also have to "flock" together to form the coherent story we want them to tell.
Thus "Words of a Feather" came to be the name for my website.
I love words. It's amazing what us people can create, just using words. Stories, poems, songs, articles, blogs, websites all contain words! What I like to do with words is: writing, proofreading, translating, pretty much every part of the writing process... And in Dutch (my mother tongue) as well as English (fluently). Under the writings tab I have added some 'Words of my own Feather' for you to hopefully enjoy. Also, it was an honor to be a part of a project like "My Heart is an Elephant" by Marc Korf and a joy to read those parables and fables in the process. Words can capture the heart or turn it away. If you think about it, words just have power. Yet everything hangs on using the right words in the right context as well as the right order and form... Writing projects really fascinate me. Will you let me in on yours? Let me know what it is and what still needs to be done, if you like. Or if it's already finished and you just have something you want the world to read, let me know. I love reading and giving my opinion if asked for (and sometimes even unasked for)...
